About EAROPH
EAROPH as a non-government multi-sectorial organization encompassing the private, public and academic sectors was established to foster the exchange of insights and experiences among countries in the EAROPH region.

It promotes a better understanding of Human Settlements and encourages excellence in planning, development and management to improve the quality of life and sustainability of human settlements.

The Objectives:




To carry out the study and promotion, with special application to the potentialities and the needs of the states within Malaysia for the purpose of attaining better quality of life through but not limited to the improvement of Housing and the theory, practice and its implementation of Urban Rural planning, including the creation of new agglomerations, at local, regional, national and international level

To consolidate and promote expertise in Human settlements.

To provide a forum for continuous collaboration between government, private sectors and people in addressing human settlement issues.

To promote personal professional development amongst its members

To provide expert technical support for members

To provide expert technical consultancy services on a commercial basic.
To publish, print and distribute publications of technical paper and documents deemed to promote the objective of EAROPH Malaysia.

To facilitate the exchange of information, experiences, ideas and insights amongst members.

To faster links with similar interest in Malaysia and other countries

       
Our Activities:
 

EAROPH has been expanding its activities in various areas. These includes:

Arranging technical exchange programmes between countries

Organizing international conferences and regional seminars

Running short-term technical training programmes

Conducting technical field visits to member countries

Promoting joint-venture urban development projects

Facilitating funding arrangements for project between donor agencies and beneficiary countries in the EAROPH region

Hosting public forums for key policy makers to highlight current issues, publishing bulletins and journals
